Our Plan
In 2026 and 2028, Durham will contribute to the statewide victories we need to deliver fair maps, a truly representative government, and improve the lives of North Carolinians.
To do this we are working to build an effective, durable volunteer organization with activities that provide value to the Durham community, so we can strengthen ties to the Durham Democrats, and increase voter participation in 2026 and 2028.
Organizing Our Community
The data tells us that people over 40 are 15+ points more likely to vote than those under 40. So in 2026, we are partnering with organizations and communities throughout Durham County to build relationships with voters under 40.

Targeted Voter Outreach in 2026
We will complement our relationship building with rigorous, targeted voter outreach. These efforts will be designed to raise our overall county vote total so that statewide Democrats will prevail in the 2026 midterms.
